Rojina Tamang
Rojina was born in Bhaktapur District of the Kathmandu Valley and her current home is Udayapur District of eastern Nepal. She is a B.Sc. agriculture student at Kathmandu University with a particular interest in horticulture. She is dedicated to serving her nation by studying agriculture and improving food production systems in her community. Her hobbies include writing and reciting poems, public speaking, and drawing anime characters.

MD Amir
M.D. Amir is from the Saptari District of Madesh Province in southeastern Nepal. He grew up in a farming community, which inspired his passion for agriculture. He is studying for a B.Sc. in Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University, with interests in entomology, crop protection, and agricultural biochemistry. In the future, he would like to work in agricultural development to support food security and rural livelihoods.

Utsab Ghimire
Utsab is from Chitwan District of Nepal’s Bagmati Province. He is a B.Sc. Agriculture student at Agriculture and Forestry University, where his main interests are in plant breeding and plant pathology. He aims to contribute to the development of disease-resistant and climate-resilient crop varieties, which can help farmers achieve stable production and improve their livelihoods.

Prabin Kafle
Prabin grew up in southern Nepal in Nawalpur District of Gandaki Province. Being surrounded by farming and rural life inspired his interest in agriculture from an early age. He is pursuing a B.Sc. Agriculture degree at Agriculture and Forestry University, with strong interests in sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. He hopes to work closely with farming communities, helping them adopt effective and innovative practices that improve food security and livelihoods.

Basudha Khadka
Basudha is from the Myagdi District of Nepal’s Gandaki Province, where her family has long been engaged in agriculture. She is studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture in the College of Natural Resources Management of Agriculture and Forestry University. After completing her degree, she would like to work in a research center or serve as a technical officer. Her goal is to contribute to rural areas facing food insecurity by developing suitable crop varieties and promoting better agricultural technologies.

Salisha Manandhar
Salisha is from the Ramechhap and Dhading Districts of Bagmati Province in central Nepal. Her upbringing in a rural area inspired her to understand the importance of agriculture and its role in improving livelihoods and national development. She is pursuing a B.Sc. Ag degree at Agriculture and Forestry University. Her career goal is to become a skilled agricultural professional who can help improve food security, promote sustainable farming techniques, and contribute to the development of Nepal’s agricultural economy.

Bisal Parajuli
Bisal is from Kapilvastu District of Lumbini Province in southern Nepal. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree at Agriculture and Forestry University. Coming from a strong agricultural background, he has developed a deep passion for animal health and veterinary services. His primary focus is on improving livestock productivity and welfare, which are vital to the prosperity of Nepal’s farming communities.

Manika Poudel
Manika Poudel lives with her family in Chitwan District of southern Nepal. She is in a B.Sc. Agriculture program at Agriculture and Forestry University. Growing up in an agricultural family, she has seen how plant diseases can reduce crop production, and therefore, has developed a strong interest in plant pathology, hoping to help farmers learn about crop diseases and their management. She is also interested in the connection between human nutrition and agriculture, because healthy crops are important for healthy lives.

Jamuna Purja
Jamuna is from the Myagdi District of Nepal’s Gandaki Province. She is pursuing a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture at Agriculture and Forestry University, where she has strong interests in plant breeding and soil science. Her educational goal is to successfully complete her degree and build a meaningful career in the agricultural sector. Despite the challenges of being from a family with limited financial resources, she is determined to continue her education and use her knowledge and skills to support farmers and improve their livelihoods.

Sujata Ranabhat
Sujata grew up in Tanahun District of central Nepal. Witnessing the struggles of farmers in her rural community inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree at Agriculture and Forestry University. She strongly believe that healthy and organic food should not be limited to people who can afford high prices. She hopes to use her knowledge and skills to support farmers, especially those who may lack education, resources, or technical guidance, helping them create sustainable sources of income and a better future.

Sushil is from the Dhading District of Bagmati Province in central Nepal, where he grew up in a farming family. He is pursuing a B.Sc. Ag degree at Agriculture and Forestry University. His career interests include climate-resilient agriculture, soil fertility management, and sustainable agriculture. He hopes to gain the skills to address challenges faced by farmers and contribute to improving agricultural productivity, national income, and food security.

Mimsara Bhattarai
Mimsara is from Kalikot District of Karnali Province in western Nepal, and is studying for a B.Sc. in Agriculture at Far Western University. She is especially interested in the discipline of agronomy, which is essential for increasing food production, promoting sustainability, and ensuring resilience against challenges. Mimsara’s parents passed away when she was a child, making it difficult for her to fund her education.

He is studying for a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture at Far Western University. He plans to contribute to the modernization of the agricultural sector so that a better lifestyle can be achieved by the rural population and the problems of hunger, poverty, and food insecurity can be addressed.

She is pursuing a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture at Far Western University, with particular interests in plant breeding and agricultural research. She hopes to contribute to the development of improved crop varieties and support farmers in Nepal, helping to enhance food security in communities like her own.

She comes from a large farming family and is studying for a B.Sc. in Agriculture at Far Western University. She has a strong interest in horticulture, particularly in reducing post-harvest losses through improved storage, handling, and management. Homraj Devkota is from Sindhuli District of Bagmati Province. He is enrolled in a B.Sc. Agriculture program at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University, Lamjung Campus. He is motivated to study agriculture by his parents, who have extensive experience in crop production. He is studying agriculture to learn about climate’s role in agriculture and marketing systems. He would like to help improve Nepal’s agricultural system through extension services.
