Yub Kumari ("Yansu") is from the Udayapur District in the Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. She is in a B.Sc. program in the College of Natural Resource Management at Agriculture and Forestry University and is interested in a career in horticulture. She has long been aware of the problem of skilled talent leaving Nepal, and would like to contribute her skills for the betterment of her country. Yansu is one of eight members of her family, in which her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. The entire family depends on agriculture and the household seldom has sufficient funds for tuition or educational materials.
