Sneha is from the Palpa District in southern Nepal’s Lumbini Province, birthplace of Gautama Buddha. She is enrolled in a B.Sc. Ag program at Agriculture and Forestry University in Chitwan, where her interests are human nutrition and sustainable agriculture. Both parents are progressive farmers who know the effects of drought, insect pests, and diseases on crop yields. A B.Sc. education will give her the technical knowledge to enable her to solve problems and improve the economic conditions of Nepali farmers.
