Pushpa is from Saptari District of southeastern Nepal. She is pursuing a B.Sc. Ag degree at Madhesh Agricultural University and is particularly interested in human nutrition and health based on a balanced diet. Pushpa is the daughter of a low-income farm family, and her inspiration is her grandfather who cultivated crops using organic production methods. She would like to become a respected agricultural scientist and contribute to the body of knowledge that addresses food security in Nepal.
