Bina is from the Parsa District of Madhesh Province in southern Nepal. She is studying for a B.Sc. Ag. degree at the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science on the Paklihawa campus of Tribhuvan University. She is interested in agronomy, particularly research that focuses on agricultural production practices that address climate change. Bina has lost her father, and her mother is unable to work due to health problems, thus leaving the household expenses as her responsibility. The FSEP scholarship will provide the support needed to ensure her graduation.
